New work ✨ I created this painting to pull together some color ideas for our main bedroom. I found a framed picture of a zebra for $2 at a Goodwill and thought - maybe I can paint over this… I wasn’t sure it would work but I’m very pleased with how it turned out. I painted over the zebra with white and then red, in an attempt to saturate the greens in the final painting. I used tempura paint sticks as my medium which I really enjoyed because they are so easy to pull out and work, no water or color mixing needed.
