With gratitude and admiration, we share the bittersweet news that Rebecca Richards will retire as Master Director of High Country Chorus at the close of 2026.

For 35 remarkable years, Rebecca has been a shining force within Sweet Adelines—as a member, director, coach, competitor, and educator—leaving an extraordinary legacy that will resonate for years. Through Rebecca’s leadership, we have experienced so many wonderful songs, unforgettable performances, moments on the contest stage, and we have built a chorus family united by harmony and friendship.

High Country Chorus proudly sang the National Anthem this morning to kick-off the Cancer League of Colorado’s 5K event in Washington Park. We were 40 voices strong, and represented with our booth to encourage prospective singers to join us!
