Art Journal page for today. Abstract, which just means free-for-all mess making, but it's very relaxing & no pressure to make anything specific.

It's just fun to pick some colors & play. I used watercolors & neocolor crayons for the base & then added some black & white stamping & some white acrylic scribbles. I love the colors & the white just pops.

The latest Altered Playing Card in the Full Deck Challenge 4 - Card #40

Prompts were Ombre, Doodles, Tissue Paper, Gold Dots, Black Heart, Thread (Candy was the only prompt I didn't use)

I've been holding on to the rainbow Ombre cat for almost a year - the last one of a whole page of my watercolor doodly cats & birds.

I'm thinking I might make a video of making these doodly birds & cats. Would you guys like that?

Used up some leftovers from previous projects that were piling up. No over-thinking.

FDC4 Card #40

Prompt(s): Ombre, Doodle Pattern, Tissue Paper, Gold Dots, Black Heart, Thread

The cats I make, I call my doodly cats & the gold dots were my way of doodling today, plus that face is more doodly than life-like. Lol. The cat is a rainbow Ombre (French for gradient). I used patterned tissue paper from the Dollar store for the background. I punched out the black Heart & outlined it with the same Gold chrome pen I used to outline the whole card & make the dots. The thread was almost a twine - it was white & gold for Christmas, and I used a piece of mesh that I got in some Happy Mail.

My Altered Playing Card for this week ( #39)

I used a napkin & book page for the background then added a bit of lace, fabric, thread & a butterfly. The colors are making me happy.

A video tutorial will be coming out soon for this card - as soon as I can edit it.
