🎓💛 Before yesterday’s recital, we sat down with TDC’s graduating seniors for one last interview. Their last recital. Their last bow. Their last moments on the TDC stage as students. 😢

Tune in to hear the emotions they’re feeling, their favorite memories from the years, and the advice they have for the younger dancers!

We are so proud of the young women you’ve become and so grateful for the impact you’ve made on our TDC family. Once a TDC dancer, always a TDC dancer. ✨

Our final TDC Senior Shoutout, Lauren Esquivel:
Hey, I’m Lauren! Im a senior at Lakeland Senior High School and a graduating senior at TDC. I will be attending USF as a psychology major next year.
Throughout the past 8 years at TDC I have built unbreakable bonds and created unforgettable memories. These girls are my family and the studio is like a second home. I don’t think I’d be the person I am today without not only dance but the TDC team. I can’t wait to see what the future holds for these ladies and will forever be this team’s number one fan.

Up next for our Senior Shoutout, Peyton Howell:
Hi! My name is Peyton, and I have been dancing for TDC for 8 years. Becoming a part of the TDC family has been one of the best things to happen to me. I gained a second family. The instructors are not only my coaches, but I also see them as people I can come to with any need or just someone to confide in. Dancing with these girls is something I will never be able to replace.
I will be attending Florida Gulf Coast University in the fall, majoring in Health Science, but I will forever be cheering on this team no matter where I am!

Our first TDC Senior Shoutout, Marilyn Perez:
Hii, I’m Marilyn, and I started dancing at TDC when I was just 8 years old. But at 13, I joined the team, and looking back now, it was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. TDC didn’t just make me a stronger dancer, it helped me grow into the person I am today. It brought me out of my shell, gave me confidence, and surrounded me with people who became so much more than teammates. Y’all became my second family. Through every practice, competition, laugh, challenge, memory, and milestone, I learned lessons that will stay with me forever. I’m endlessly grateful to every instructor who believed in me, pushed me, and helped shape me over these past 10 years. Thank you, TDC, for being such a huge part of my life and my journey. Even though this chapter is coming to an end, a part of me will always belong here. I’ll carry these memories, these people, and this love with me forever. 🤍
