Yesterday, I had surgery on my right thumb. And once it heals up, I'll be getting the same surgery on my left thumb.

The reason: bone-on-bone arthritis at the base of each thumb. (Very painful)

Anticipated result: no more pain. I should be able to crochet again soon. Worst case scenario, it will be around 6 months total healing time.
