Thanks to so many who helped to make the 2024 Lake Los Angeles Community Carnival a wonderful event. It was a carnival of new. The LLAP&CA wrote a grant last year with the intention of bringing more people to be directors and to be part of the CArnival. In all ways, it was very successful.
We are fortunate to have Susan Cox and Rudy Arroyo join the directors.
We welcomed Rudy Arroyo and True Memories Car and Bike Shows as their first year at the Carnival. If you did not see the amzing displays of resored bikes that was presented by the youth- it was awesome! Be sure to follow us if we are lucky to bring them back this year.
The adults showed off restored cars the next day. The talent and dedication is inspiring.
We welcomed Susan Cox at the welcome table for the duration of the Carnival. That is a task that can be experience some wind and weather. We thank them both for their energy and humor!
Schoeppner Shows were back with an extra day of fun and discount wristband Thursday!
Olivia Miseroy and Heather brought information about Sanctuaries.
Mr. Peter Ortega ( known as Mr. Music at Challenger Middle School) and partner raised the bar for live music duos.
Joe Selph shared his marionettes. He has become a favorite for many families.
Mr. Ronald Moll brought all round rock and roll as a great selection of music.
Mr. Robert Lopez brought his carney food trucks - yes there are deep fried twinkies.
Our security team was from Top Guard.

We had another fun family community carnival, and we thank all of you for the great memeories.

We could not do this as well withoput the terrific support of Supervisor Katherine Barger. She stepped up again to meet and mitigate the fees that pay for the oversite of many who help to keep us all safe.

Los Angeles County Parks and Recreation have the most incredible staff. The Partners : Joanna Mendez, Eric Rangel, Dora Trujillo, Jonathan Molina, Erick Bozeman, and at Public Works, Sam Miller. Mr. Trevor Zemp, Mr. Al Evans, Mr. William Champion, Ms Regina Bradley, Ms. Vanderlyn Williams, Ms Ymani Mitchell , so much thanks for the incredible amount of time and consideration. To Ericka Schwardt, Mrs. Shirley Harriman, Mrs. Stormy Hope, Mr. Jerry Cox, Mr. Vladimir Gomez, and to all who shared the information- we cannot do this without you. To all who served on past Carnivals, your amazing efforts have led to this great tradition.
To Mrs. Inez Moore, Mrs. Tina Escue, and Mrs. Amanda DeLeon - we are grateful for your ideas, your cautions, and your continued support to buuild a park, bringing together all people.
