Beware Thousand Islands, Watertown, ABay, Clayton, Cape Vincent, Kingston ON, Gananoque we’re coming! 9/3-9/14. The Kingston, ON area may have never seen a Family Truckster so that should be fun! Going back to our favorite haunts, A BAY International, Bonnie Castle Resort and Marina, Thousand Island Park, NY, The Guzzle. Then cross the Canadian Bridge for some serious Poutine and chow down at Chez Piggy Restaurant Love the 1000 Islands area since I was like 5 and caught a giant 4 foot fish. Inch, foot, whatever but it was definitely a fish.

Lake George Family Truckster I have to tell you, my husband and I came to Lake George a couple of weeks ago. We have been HUGE fans of the Griswold movies for years as we do not have any form of cable or internet television at home - we have DVDs and a TV from 1999 - and only go to the movies when the local 1-theatre shows classics like National Lanpoons movies, Jaws, etc.

Anyway, we were in town during our trip to Lake George at the crosswalk by the Visitor Center. I hear my husband say, "Jess, get your phone." I was looking straight ahead af the visitor center and thought, for what? Next thing I know my brain processes that I look over and see the family truckster. I lost my s**t and yelled out, "Oh my God!!!!" And my husband yelled out, "Holy f*ck!!!!" and ran up to you. I was able to snap 2 pictues quickly.

You were the highlight of our trip that I will remember forever. For 20 years I have called our family vehicle the family truckster. My husband does automotive restoration work and I have told him for 23 years that I want a real family truckster one day. I never knew they existed until the day the clouds parted and there it was as I crossed the street in Lake George.

You gave my husband a card and I've been seeing your posts here the last few weeks which brighten my days. If we were not 6.5 hours from you I would book to just to take us for a joy ride. Hopefully next year we make it back to Lake George. If we do I will reach out in the weeks before to book you for a joy rise around Lake George.
