I would love to share some of the renovation highlights and a few of the creative design features that were incorporated into the space.
1. Brand new custom designed cabinetry featuring a cute little storage bench, I'm calling it the mudroom since it has functional space for shoes and coats, as well as a nicely stacked washer and dryer area. Also, the new natural slate flooring, which is amazing!
2. A sleek, modern, newly designed fireplace that is now nice and snug to the wall; featuring a gorgeous green vertical tile inlay, a slim top shelf for the sound board, and a natural slate hearth that matches the new mudroom flooring.
3. Removal of all the old 80s paneling walls and doors, and installation of new drywall and new modern doors, which makes a huge difference overall. Then of course that stunning vinyl mural featuring birch trees, and the seamless walnut stained wood planks that are hung in a diagonal direction, above the fireplace.
4. An interesting painting technique called color drenching, whereas the walls, trim, & doors, are all the same cohesive color...it's super clean looking and feels intentional, I just love it!
5. The Zen Garden w/ a running water fountain. This was super fun to make for the family, this feature brings a peaceful and relaxing vibe into the space.
6. A modern, low profile, chenille sofa and round walnut coffee table, a super fun hanging swing chair, and lots of other great accessories and cozy stuff to make it feel warm and inviting!
My clients said they are very happy, and that is what matters most to me and makes everything worthwhile ❣️😚
