Needing volunteer hours? Looking to get more involved in the community? Just want to have fun?

Star City Nights is looking for around 35-40 volunteers who are willing to work a few hours during the festival this year! We are hosting a callout meeting on September 1st at First Farmers Bank in Downtown Lafayette! Hope to you there!

The OFFICIAL ART for Star City Nights 2026 ✨

For the past two years, one of the most recognizable parts of Star City Nights has been Jai Powell’s incredible festival artwork. Each year, Jai creates an original piece inspired by the spirit of the festival, and this year’s may be our favorite yet!

“This one came after I finished the first and still felt like something was tugging at me. I kept thinking about the interactive art station from that night, the projector, the colored pieces rearranged into an abstract light show spilling across the side of the building. I wanted to capture that layered, glowing effect but woven through with festival symbolism. Music moving through the crowd. Creativity alive in the air. The warm haze of twinkle lights overhead. This one is less about the place and more about the feeling of being there.”

Thank you, Jai Powell for bringing Star City Nights to life in a way that captures not just what the festival looks like, but what it feels like. We can’t wait for everyone to experience the 2026 festival through your newest creation!! 💛
