Fri Aug 28 -- Nice Work Jazz at Johnson’s Station
With Jason Malmberg (bass), Jerry Weiss (piano), Pete Lewis (saxes) and Brian Kauffman (drums).
In the heart of Longmont, Colorado, lies Johnson's Corner Gas, a humble yet storied gas station born from the dreams of wanderers and the hard work of its founder, Mr. Johnson. Established along the dusty trails of the American West, this station became a beacon for weary travelers, offering not just fuel but a sense of hospitality and refuge. Today, Johnson’s Station Supper Club stands as a waypoint for a different kind of traveler, one seeking indulgent foods, inventive concoctions, and a place to rest under the shade.
