Summer programming is about more than keeping kids busy. It’s about creating opportunities for young people to grow, build confidence, express themselves, and discover what’s possible through the arts.

Behind every great performance is the work no one sees.

Our theater summer intensive spent time selecting monologues, analyzing scripts, and digging into each character’s story in preparation for this Friday’s performance. The goal isn’t just to memorize lines. It’s to understand them, connect with them, and bring them to life.

We can’t wait to see these young artists take the stage. 🎭✨

Yesterday marked Day 1 of our 2nd Annual Theatre Intensive!

We were thrilled to welcome 11 bright, talented, and enthusiastic young artists who will spend the next two weeks learning, growing, and sharpening their craft alongside our incredible BTE teaching artists.

These next two weeks will be filled with creativity, collaboration, discovery, and the joy of storytelling. We can’t wait to see how each student grows and what they discover throughout this journey.
