Think about it. Your favorite cheese SMOKED! Our favorite is the hippie havarti! 🤤 and those smoked spices are a game changer! Smoked sea salt + paprika oh. my. word.

Don’t forget the smoked nuts 🥜 there’s also so many samples at this booth 🤩 AND you can now get smoked cheeses added to your best burger at market!

🤩BIG BIG EXCITING NEWS!

The USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) earlier this week announced appointees who will serve on the Louisiana USDA Farm Service Agency (FSA) state committee. 🥳We are so excited announce our own Monica from has been appointed!

“The FSA state committee members play an integral role in the continuity of operations, equitable and inclusive program administration and ensure the overall integrity of services to the nation’s agricultural producers,” said Marcus Graham, FSA Deputy Administrator for Field Operations. “These individuals have proven themselves to be leaders, early adopters and key influencers in the agriculture industry in their respective states.”

🙌🏼 USDA is transforming America’s food system with a greater focus on more resilient local and regional food production, fairer markets for all producers, ensuring access to safe, healthy and nutritious food in all communities, building new markets and streams of income for farmers and producers.

This is a really big deal + we couldn’t be more proud of Monica! 🥳🥳🥳 if you see her this weekend, give her a big congratulations!!

Starting tomorrow, Saturday, March 18, Moncus Park will offer FREE SHUTTLE RIDES from Blackham Coliseum to accommodate the influx of community members and tourists on Saturday mornings.

Park visitors wishing to use this convenient shuttle option can park at Blackham Coliseum’s Cabbage Patch Lot and take a free, fast shuttle to Moncus Park from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. every Saturday.

We are extremely grateful for the outpouring of support from our Acadiana community! In only our second year of operations, the Park is experiencing record-breaking attendance, with nearly 7,000 people visiting the Park each weekend. We appreciate the patience of the Acadiana community while our team and Board of Directors work to find long-term logistical and operational on-site parking accommodations.

“The Park has quickly become a regional asset, tourist destination, and economic driver, and we hope that with the community’s support, we can continue to build upon this strong foundation we have created together,” said JP MacFadyen, executive director. “We ask that the community respect neighboring business’s parking needs and encourage you to take advantage of this free shuttle to visit the Park and support the Lafayette Farmers and Artisans Market vendors and the dozens of other community partners and entrepreneurs who utilize this space each week.”

is a local honey farm that brings so much love to the market! They have so much more than honey too!

🤩Some of our favorite things they have are the most amazing honey candies, beeswax reusable food wraps, and the honey sticks! The honey sticks are a kids favorite!

Grab your bags & get your friends ready! It’s almost the BEST time of the week again! 🥳 we are seriously pumped for the absolutely gorgeous weather this weekend is going to bring!!

🙃Just a little update - starting this weekend - South College Shopping Center will be towing cars that are using their parking lot to come to market. We love our neighbors just as much as we love you! 🫶🏼You can park the grass area behind the venders (basically VIP status) and in the paved parking lot by the playground!

☀️ As always, we recommend coming early + staying late! Thanks for supporting our local community + let’s keep this space a positive one 😉
