The 20th Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival will now open THURSDAY, Jan. 23rd, at 3:15 pm at Cite des Arts, 109 Vine, Downtown Lafayette!
The films scheduled for screening at 11:45 am (Experimental Shorts Series 1) and at 1:30 pm (Documentary Feature: After the Odyssey) have been CANCELLED. We plan to reschedule or screen these films virtually, and will update our website when they are available. Also, the narrative feature film HOTEL SILENCE has been rescheduled for FRIDAY, Jan. 24th at 6:00 pm at St. Landry Cinema.
Tonight at Cite we will screen, as part of the International Narrative Shorts Series 1 at 5:00 pm, the narrative short I'M NOT A ROBOT, which TODAY was nominated for an Academy Award in the Live Action Short Film category. Join us for the screening of this Oscar-nominated short film, as well as all the narrative shorts in this international series, including CLEM by filmmaker John Barnard, an internationally known filmmaker who is here from Winnipeg, Canada.
Dozens of filmmakers are headed our way, many after spending the night in the Houston and Atlanta airports. Come join us over the next seven days of the Festival and meet and make welcome these wonderful artists!
