The Northland Community Club - Ladysmith, WI is excited to announce a jam packed lineup of family fun including carnival rides, mouthwatering food, live music, power boat racing, a reptile show, karate demo, bingo, arts & crafts fair, car show, the famous Venetian Night Parade, fireworks and the Sunday street parade along the scenic Flambeau River at Memorial Park.

Get ready for an exciting two days of horsepower, competition, and family fun at the Mardi Gras Grand Prix Power Boat Racing!

📅 Saturday, July 18 & Sunday, July 19, 2026
🕖 Saturday 12pm. Sunday 2pm following the street parade!
📍 Memorial Park - Ladysmith, WI

Back by popular demand, Power Boat Racing! Northland Community Club - Ladysmith, WI is excited to have power boat racing back at the 2026 Northland Mardi Gras in Ladysmith. TCPBA Power Boat Racing Racing is bringing two days of competitive powerboat racing along the scenic Flambeau River at Memorial Park.

Racing will occur on Saturday July 18th starting at 12pm and Sunday July 19th at 2pm following the parade. There is no entry fee into Mardi Gras or the event.

For those not familiar with the Northland Mardi Gras, there will be carnival rides & games, live music, a designated beer garden, Bingo, and several community events during the four day community event (July 16-19).

The Twin City Power Boat Association is the largest Outboard Performance Craft club in the country. They conduct family-friendly events throughout the region. Power Boat Racing is a great sport for the whole family. No matter if you are a boating, fishing, or racing enthusiast, you will enjoy the thrills and spills of the high performance boats.

There will be more information coming in the next few weeks for spectators as we get closer to the event. We look forward to bringing this event back to our community with hopes to make this an annual tradition

Get them before they're gone! Pre-sale ride tickets for Ladysmith's Northland Mardi Gras will be on sale starting later today at the following locations!

Ladysmith Federal Savings and Loan , Ladysmith Ace Hardware and Security Financial Bank - Ladysmith!

While prices may be rising elsewhere, pre-sale ride tickets remain the same as last year at 6 for $12! Get yours today before they sell out! Ticket prices will go up at the festival! The best carnival rides you will find at any festival in Rusk County!

The Northland Mardi Gras is July 16-19, 2026! With no gate admission fee and lots of free entertainment to take in, Ladysmith's Northland Mardi Gras is your premier destination for affordable family fun in Rusk County!

We are looking to fill our last spot for the music lineup at Mardi Gras. We have Saturday July 18th from 12-2:30pm still open. Send us a message if you are interested and a quote of what you would charge. We have a designated sound team for the event. We are hoping to book within the next couple of days.

Update: We have one Food Booth spot availability left for Sunday July 19th 12-4pm!

Are you an organization looking to raise money? The spots are 4 hours long and require 6-8 people to run the booth. Organizations will earn $400 + any tips that they make during their time. Plus you can include any of your own flyers to advertise upcoming events or needs for your organization.

The Northland Community Club provides everything you need, you provide the staffing. These food booth fundraisers allow Club members to attend to the rest of the festival’s needs. We couldn’t do it without these organizations.
