Flowers are beautiful! Who doesn’t love a nice red rose? There’s just something about a rose that can make you stop, appreciate the moment, and remember that beauty can be found in the simplest things.

This video doesn’t even scratch the surface of all I could say about the process of painting.

What I will say is that I truly enjoy having opportunities to share my experiences with you. I hope that, in some way, what I share inspires someone to pick up a brush, put some paint on a canvas, and explore the creativity that lives inside of them.

There’s something powerful about creating. Sometimes you just have to give yourself permission to start.

This October, I'll be hosting my solo art exhibit, 'Favor in Our Blood', also I'll be doing a book signing for my upcoming novel of the same title.

While the exhibit doesn't tell the book's story, both are connected by one theme, the favor found in relationships and moments we share with family, and loved ones.

I have a request of you! I'm looking for original candid photos of genuine moments to inspire new paintings. Limit number of people in photo to a few. Some pieces may become part of my collection and be displayed in my exhibit.

By submitting a photo, you give permission for me to use it as artistic reference.

However, is no guarantee that your photo will be painted.
