UTK Language and World Business Student Association

UTK Language and World Business Student Association LWBSA is for all current Language and World Business students as well as students interested in LWB.

LWBSA is intended to give students an opportunity to further explore Language and World Business, meet/network with other LWB students, and make an impact on the Knoxville community by leading cultural and international community service projects.

Meet our president, Amy!

Hey y’all! I’m a senior majoring in LWB with Hispanic Studies, and minoring in Hospitality and Tourism Management. Besides being President of LWBSA, I am also President of the UTK Ski and Snowboard Club! Some fun facts about me are that I have 3 citizenships (South Africa, United Kingdom, and USA), and I have traveled to 35 countries!

My name is Ava Callis and I am a junior here at UTK, studying LWB with a concentration in International business and German! I am also minoring in Sustainability. This program has given me so many opportunities to meet new people, be apart of such a great community, and experience so many new things! Some fun facts about me: I love my little cat, Panda, I am super passionate about bettering the environment, and I play waterpolo!

Meet our secretary, Emma!

My name is Emma Hartsook and I’m a sophomore at UTK studying LWB with a concentration in Hispanic Studies! I’ve always wanted to travel and learn another language, and this program has given me the perfect opportunity to reach these goals and create new ones. Some fun facts about me are that I have traveled to four countries, I love going to concerts, and I play the guitar!
