This morning Rev. Wiley Shelby went home to be with his Savior. Please be in prayer for The Shelby Family at this time.

“I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:” - 2 Timothy 4:7

“But none of these things move me, neither count I my life dear unto myself, so that I might finish my course with joy, and the ministry, which I have received of the Lord Jesus, to testify the gospel of the grace of God.” - Acts 20:24

“But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep.
For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
Wherefore comfort one another with these words.” - 1 Thessalonians 4:13-18

Praise Report: EV was blessed with two powerful, Spirit-filled services around home! Altars were filled, hearts were touched, and lives were changed! To God be ALL the glory!

What made it even more special was having five of our team members on stage, along with former team members and dear friends of the ministry serving alongside us!
There is something special about seeing people God has brought together over the years still united in the same purpose…. lifting up Jesus and reaching souls!

Thank you to Friendly Chapel Baptist Church & Sunset Heights Baptist Church for the privilege of serving with you! To God be the glory for the great things He hath done! Give Him praise, saints!

Praise Report: Three People Saved in Florida!

This past week, EV had the privilege of worshipping twice in Florida! Michael Shannon Shelby had the honor of preaching Sunday Morning. The Lord spoke to our hearts from Isaiah 6 on “The Revived Life: Here Am I, Send Me.” Three precious souls were saved over both services! Join us in Praise to our great God for the wonderful things He is doing!

Thank you to Hillcrest Baptist Church of Palatka, Florida and Hope Baptist Church for the privilege of serving with you!
“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8

Praying with Papaw: 100 year old Rev. Wiley Shelby (Mike’s Dad, Shannon’s Papaw), prays over EV before every trip. Today, Papaw wanted to thank everyone for their prayers during his recent illness. He also shared what God had placed on his heart today… and then prays at the end. Join him and be blessed!
"Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
‭‭Jeremiah‬ ‭33‬:‭3‬ ‭

“Remember your leaders, who spoke the word of God to you. Consider the outcome of their way of life and imitate their faith.” -Hebrews 13:7

Thank you all for your prayers for Papaw! He went to the hospital last night. They treated him for a UTI and they gave him steroids, antibiotics and some additional lung treatments. He’s home now and doing much better! 🙌 Praise The Lord! Jeremiah 33:3.

Prayer request: For those of you who follow our “Praying with Papaw” posts… tonight we’d like to ask you to pray FOR Papaw… and Miss Ruth. We stopped by to pray with him before heading out to Florida and he wasn’t feeling very well. Please lift this precious man of God up to throne room. Thank you!

“Pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” -James 5:16
