I found one more print in the back of my car on Saturday and thought I would grab a quick video to show you.

This was one of my favorite paintings I’ve done. Again one of the first ones that made me think, “Hey! I might be getting the hang of this!”

It was also one of the first originals I sold. I was so thrilled! My Husband sold it for me out of the little shop I used to have one day while I ran out to lunch.

I’m so glad it found a loving home, she even came back later and told me all about where she had it hanging.

I’m also glad that I got a good digital copy of it first so that I could get prints made to share with you.

What do you think? Barn owls are some of my favorite animals, what’s your favorite?

Back at the Heritage Center today! I got to play with their 1887 singer sewing machine all day making quilt squares. It was the “kids takeover the museum” event so I was excited to teach “Younguns” about history and clothing.

Oh! And I rushed and finished my new blouse just in time! I’ve had the reproduction fabric for years… and have had the pattern cut and ready to go for months… 😬

I realized when I got there that I really wanted to show you all another painting, but I didn’t have anything new done…

So I found this print of one of my favorites in the car and thought, ahah! That one!

So here’s my little “Generous Mouse” that I painted many years ago.

I’m not sure if it’s up on my sites yet… let me know if you want me to make more prints of this one!

Enjoy! Back to more paintings soon!

This little bunny decided spring should be glamorous, and put on a yellow flower hat. Original watercolor painting by me. https://www.redbubble.com/shop/ap/180134440?asc=u

I left the Heritage center again today and just couldn’t help myself. I just had to head back into the mountains.

I feel so at peace by the river. The butterflies are breathtaking and the flowers divine.

So I took my lunch into Tremont and stuck my feet in the water while I ate.

Join me for a few seconds and breathe a moment.

I liked this audio, so I popped it on a video I took last summer. Most of us don’t want to think about fall yet, but hey! Any time is good to show off your favorite painting! I loved painting this classic red barn back in 2020. The thought of open country while stuck in the city during lockdown really kept me sane. What are some of your mental health hacks?

I’m back at the Heritage Center again today, and I don’t have a new painting to show you yet. Instead I brought along one of my favorite old paintings.

This was one of the earliest paintings I did way back in 2019 when I started watercolor. It was the first time I looked at my work and thought, “Say! Maybe I can do this after all!” And I haven’t looked back since!

It always reminds me not to give up on myself and the things I really want to do. Just keep learning and trying!

Oh to have the peace of this little duckling asleep in a pocket. ❤️

I hope you all had a blessed and happy Resurrection Sunday. We sure did! We visited my Mother in Law’s home in Gatlinburg on the mountain and I got to film my latest mini paintings with this glorious view!

I’m really excited about this one! I branched out from watercolor and added a few gouache highlights into it. Maybe I’ll eventually get brave enough to do the whole painting in it!

Until then, enjoy this little cottage in the wildflowers!

I’ve always loved these works of Beatrix Potter. I grew up on her story books. But recently I randomly picked up a book about her garden and it included many of her other works of art.

I’ve been inspired to emulate her style just a bit, with her simple soft pastel colors, and subtle impressionist details.

The thought of a little bunny with a daffodil hat just seemed to speak to me. So here is my latest inspired just a little bit by Peter and Benjamin.
