Huge proud papa shoutout to my daughter Margaret Lambert who helped raise $7k from her ETSU sorority and fraternity effort for the devastation of the Hurricane! They bought over 15,000 lbs of food and water, and are delivering it to stranded communities as we speak. They even made a poster of her to help recruit volunteers to help!

TIPS
60% of People feel as though they have a moral duty to use what they have to help others — a sentiment that is rooted in their personal values and principles.
Having the power to improve the lives of others is a privilege, one that is closely associated with its own sense of obligation. Acting on these powerful feelings of responsibility is an excellent way of reinforcing our own personal values and feel like we’re living in a way that abides by our beliefs.
Your charitable donations can inspire your friends and family to also give to causes close to their heart. It could even bring about a family-wide effort to support a charity or charities that have special significance to you.
With giving, not only can you offer monetary support, but you can also donate your time, which is priceless. https://apca.com/apca-serves/

Join on on Thursday, March 11 at 2pm (EST) for Pivot Your Programs!
"Becoming a ShiftThinker™: Creating opportunity amidst adversity"
Presented by Dr. Kevin Snyder, Professional Speaker | CAMPUSPEAK
We all battle adversity. Like change, it’s constant in life, leadership and in campus programming. Things don’t always go according to plan. Yet what’s interesting is our perception of adversity defines whether we just go through it and endure it, or find ways to grow through and be better for it. With the right mindset, adversity teaches us important lessons we would not have had otherwise and makes us better and more prepared for future success. And it’s these lessons we need to reflect on not only for ourselves, but also for our students.
In this episode, you’re going to experience professional speaker, Dr. Kevin Snyder. Kevin has spoken to over 1,000,000 people through 1,000+ audiences in all 50 states. He has served in several Student Affairs roles and campuses, most recently being the Dean of Students at High Point University. He’s written several best-selling books and holds a Doctorate degree in Leadership. Throughout his presentation, he’ll be sharing insights from his brand new campus keynote presentation.
