I am still not over this...I had to put up a privacy fence between my home and the six houses lining my yard...

This has been an extremely hard two years. The tree I visited and loved was taken away by developers...Knox County Commission does not seem to care about nature, but wants every inch flattened and pounded with concrete slabs poured instead of foundations built. Emory Road is booming with house next to house with a walkway between homes...Flatten and destroy seems to be their motto...At 73, seeing the change in my County that I was born in, breaks my heart...Standing strong and keeping faith in Jesus has kept me sane and having some good neighbors that feel as I do has been my support...The drainage pond is ruining our connecting properties as Karns is loosing its gift of peace...Fill your pockets with money, but you can't take it with you...it is all about how you treat others...not what you can do to others...feeling very sad in Karns...Marjorie Bohanan Davis...an Appalachian Proud Artist who studied art at the University of Tennessee 1969=1974 and taught art for 30 years in Anderson County! I love the children there!
