Today, I find myself filled with gratitude.
I'm grateful for the ability to see the beauty in others despite my own shortcomings. I'm grateful for the gift we all have to recognize true love when we find it in one another, and for the opportunity to build upon it together.
I'm grateful for diversity. Our differences do not divide usβthey make us unique, valuable, and beautiful in our own way. Every person brings something special to the table, and together those gifts create something greater than any one of us could accomplish alone.
I'm grateful for this river called love that we all share. We may come from different places, walk different paths, and see the world through different eyes, but we're all swimming in the same river. This summer, let's try not to hit each other with life jackets. Let's get the inflatable arm bands instead, lend a helping hand, and enjoy the journey together.
I believe we have the power to change our communities through collective effort. Imagine community goal boards and project displays that celebrate local achievements and global accomplishments. Imagine people coming together to tackle one problem at a timeβpoverty, loneliness, hunger, addiction, education, housing, or whatever challenge is before us. Small victories become larger victories when people unite around a common purpose.
I'm encouraged by the progress being made through our music initiative. The royalty reports are still coming in, and I can't share numbers yet, but I remain committed to using a meaningful portion of future proceeds to support the mission of Children of World Hope and the projects we are building together. Every stream, every song, every supporter, and every collaborator helps move the vision forward.
We are actively looking for artists, musicians, writers, creators, volunteers, thinkers, and dreamers who want to contribute their talents to something positive. There is room at the table for everyone who wants to help make a difference.
If you would like to get involved, collaborate, volunteer, or learn more about our mission, please reach out at "[email protected]" (mailto:[email protected]).
In the near future, I hope we can gather together as a communityβsharing food, music, friendship, and the American spirit. Not arguing politics. Not focusing on what divides us. Instead, teaching each other the two-step, line dancing, maybe even doing the Wiggle on the back of the Caboose, laughing together, and remembering what it means to be neighbors and family.
As this mission grows, we'll need volunteers, leaders, collaborators, and eventually paid positions as resources allow. We hope to secure office space and continue building a team dedicated to practical solutions, creativity, compassion, and service.
I truly believe something beautiful is coming together.
The vision is bigger than one person. Bigger than one song. Bigger than one organization.
We just need more people willing to believe that love still matters, community still matters, and that together we can accomplish far more than we ever could alone.
The river is moving.
Come swim with us.
