Experience this self-guided walking tour winding through the local downtown area and along the Pasquotank River. Explore various locations associated with Orville and Wilbur Wright as they prepared for their accomplishments in aviation history. Take in the views and visit areas where the Wright brothers shopped, stayed, and made friends while in Elizabeth City. They purchased supplies here, in addition, to taking a ferry to the Outer Banks where they would build their planes and make history, being the first in powered flight.
