Met 🗝Eloise🗝, my vintage inspired necklace and earring set. This set will unfortunately not be for sale online or at any show as I used VERY old chains from a childhood necklace (it was even a bit rusty 🤪) But look how gorgeous she turned out! I'm very proud of this creation.

I decided to name this set The Three Sisters, inspired by the Anishinaabe 3 sisters tale where the 3 are squash, corn and beans instead of earth, sun and moon as seen in this set.

"The three crops benefit from each other. The corn provides a structure for the beans to climb. The beans provide the nitrogen to the soil that the other plants use, and the squash spreads along the ground, blocking the sunlight, helping prevent establishment of weeds. The squash leaves also act as a “living mulch”, creating a microclimate to retain moisture in the soil, and the prickly hairs of the vine deter pests."

6000 years ago native americans cultivated this growing process that influenced how crops are grown to this day! Living history is everywhere.
