Emile Laporte (French 1858–1907), 'Vainqueur'. A large dore bronze sculpture, signed to base, 'E. Laporte'. Base also having a brass plate bearing the title, emile laporte (3rd medaille). Laporte attended the Academy in Paris and was a student of Gabriel-Jules Thomas, Augustin Dumont, Jean-Marie Bonnassieux and Louis-Ernest Barrias. He exhibited his work at the Salon of French artists from 1881. Dimensions: 19 1/2" high x 5 1/2" wide x 6" deep.
(Italian). Vintage silver handled pitcher having swirl design to body, raised on foliate scroll form feet. Signed to underside of base. Dimensions: 11 3/4" high x 9" spout to handle x 5" diameter at widest point of body. 35.97 troy ounces.

This is a bronze desk set made by Tiffany Studios, New York. This is Tiffany's Studios most sought after aged acid etched dore' patina and is a highly collected bronze "American Indian" desk set pattern.
This set displays wonderful geometric patterns and symbols to honor "The American Indian" throughout each piece. This is a real collectors choice in the Arts & Crafts style decor.
Each piece is stamped Tiffany Studios NEW YORK and is numbered.
Tiffany started using a 3 digit number for his fancy desk set goods after 1902 subsequently these pieces were made circa 1905-1920. The quality doesn't get much better than this.

The charger is decorated with chrysanthemum and an iris floral boarder surrounding a delicately painted scene of men and women on a bridge by a tea house outside a temple entrance with wisteria blossoms. Large Gustavsberg kage signed argenta Vase with silver outlay of a rooster. circa 1935. The Argenta designs at Gustavsberg date to the 1930’s and were created under the direction of Wilhelm Kage. In 1930, Kåge exhibited his Argenta Series at the Stockholm Exhibiti. 10"H
Wilhelm Kåge was a Swedish artist, painter and potter. He was the artistic director at Gustavsberg in 1917–49, where in the early 1930s he introduced a functionalist line with stackable frames.
He was born March 6, 1889 and died November 25, 1960 in Stockholm, Sweden.

Raoul François Larche (1860-1912): Loïe Fuller, Modeled as a Lamp Gilded bronze, signed 'Raoul Larche' and with the Siot-Decauville foundry stamp.
François-Raoul Larche was a French Art Nouveau sculptor. Best known for his depictions of figures both n**e and draped, as well as for his functional objects such as lamps, goblets, and ashtrays, Larche’s sculptures are characterized by fluid lines and swirling forms.
Many of his best-known works were inspired by the dancer Loïe Fuller, a popular entertainer in Paris who performed while wearing elaborate, flowing dresses to enhance her twirling dance techniques—and who was also similarly immortalized by the painter Henri de Toulouse-Lautrec. Born in 1860 in Saint-André-de-Cubzac, France, Larche went on to study at the École Nationale des Beaux-Arts in Paris.
The sculptor’s work can now be found in the permanent collections of The Museum of Modern Art in New York, the Art Institute of Chicago, and the St. Louis Museum of Art, among others. Larche died in 1912 in Paris, France. 18 in. high.

He has had collections in multiple museums including but not limited to Museum of Modern Art, Boston Museum of Fine Art, and Whitney Museum of American Art

One of a kind, circa 1930-1950 outsider artwork throne chair with footstool constructed out of knitting spools. The chair is high backed, chair and stool each have a drawer and the chair has a cup holder. Neither I, nor any other gallery owner/dealer has ever seen anything like this before.
The throne chair measures 55″ in height and is 30″ wide.

The panels depict a dramatic array of god’s demons and mythological animals amidst an open work carved foliate background. The works were probably originally created as panels for doors into a temple area.

Monumental Exhibition Damascene Real Gold And Silver Inlaid Horse Sculpture // Collective Hudson
This exceptional unique horse sculpture stands over 3 feet tall and exhibits the artist’s ability to accomplish the most intricate and fine damascene inlay work. The horse’s head, body, legs, feet, mane and tail are all richly inlaid with real gold and real silver inlays into the hand forged ironwork. This amazing fine Damascene work inlaid horse sculpture was created in Persia, 19th century. It was sculpted out of artisan hollow hand forged iron and set on a rectangular damascene inlaid plinth, which, in turn, rests on a marble plinth.
