Water to Wine is one of my favorite pieces I’ve ever designed and made. The pattern itself is simple, but the glass has so much depth and texture that it tells a much bigger story.

I’m currently working on another piece that complements this one in both design and theme. I’m thinking this may become a series called Miracles.

I love the way the clear glue-chip glass in the background complements the botanical design, adding texture without stealing the spotlight.

One of my favorite things about using opaque glass for the oranges and leaves is that the colors stay rich and vibrant no matter where the piece hangs. Whether it’s in a sunny window or on an interior wall, these colors shine all on their own. No direct sunlight required!

Still needs to be cleaned up, patinaed, and waxed- but I’m loving it in the light 🍊
