The SFA Youth Orchestra & Strings Project take the stage alongside internationally known duo The Purple Hulls for a one-of-a-kind collaboration you won’t want to miss.

Thanks to support from the National String Project Consortium and the NAMM Foundation, this “Rooted in Community” project brings together young musicians and the red-headed twin sisters who grew up on a working farm right here in deep East Texas (yes… they really grow purple hull peas).

Join us for an evening of uplifting, acoustic-driven music that celebrates hard work, heritage and harmony.

Mama with her Bible, rolls for the pot luck, and a gift for somebody. It’s obvious that it was either mama or daddy that wanted this pic, regardless of how late we were already running for church.😆It’s ok, we surely made up for it by lingering longer than anyone after the service, and knew full well her expectation to go hug (& not hurt) every “old” person in the sanctuary as she & granny played the closing hymns on the piano & organ.
What a good mama.
