We are dedicated to the creation, development, and professional production of new works by Florida Keys writers and to support the growth of local artists.

Co-founded by Landon Bradbary, Juliet Gray, and Mike Marrero, On The Rock Productions is dedicated to the creation, development, and professional production of new works by Key West writers and to supporting the growth of local artists Keys-wide. On the Rock Productions is producing an original play in order to raise funds to send a student from the Florida Keys to the prestigious Performing Arts

Project Young Performers Program this summer. The play, called By Popular Demand, is a world premiere production, written by local playwrights Landon Bradbary and Mike Marrero and starring local favorites Bradbary, Brandon Beach, Pony Charvet, and Carolyn Cooper as well as fabulous weekly guest stars like Gordon Ross, Vicki Roush, Laurie Breakwell, Cowboy Marky Pierson, and MC Couscous. The play Roshambo, written by Key West writers, is a fictional Stock Island fantasy set in a chicken shack and convenience store that is playing now through May 1st at the Key West Theater. Roshambo is the first play ever to be set on Stock Island and explores the different timelines that occur once the characters play the popular game “Roshambo,” also known as “Rock, Paper, Scissors.” The result of each Roshambo game hurls the characters into different outcomes, offering different timelines in every scene. It is the first play to be set on Stock Island and is unlike anything seen thus far onstage in Key West.

This innovative evening at the theater, directed by Key West native Michael Marrero, is written and created by Jon Rhoads with additional work by J.B. McLendon, and stars local favorites Pony Charvet, Lliam Dufresne, Mook J, Kelly Jane, Chad Newman, and Laura Richardson.
