I’m officially opening applications for a Temporary Event Assistant!
Due to my pregnancy, I am already starting to get slowed down a bit! I’m looking for someone who can help me with more of the heavy lifting part of the job, and if you’re willing to learn the ropes of my painting event business, all the better!
This is a temporary, part time, event based position, which means that there are approximately 4-5 weekend shifts that I’m looking for help with! Each shift is approximately 4-5 hours, and will range from helping with painting classes to helping with face painting events!
Responsibilities may include:
- Helping load and unload art supplies and equipment
- Setting up and taking down event spaces
- Assisting guests during events
- Preparing and organizing supplies
- Helping with cleanup
- Taking direction and jumping in wherever help is needed
- Providing general support during events
The position pays $10/hour. Transportation to and from events can be provided! Some events are in Kewaunee County and some are in Manitowoc.
This position is temporary and does not guarantee ongoing employment. However, depending on how things go, there may be opportunities for additional work with Zara Studio & Co. in the future, including future events, projects, or other opportunities as the business grows.
I’m especially interested in someone who is reliable, responsible, comfortable working on their feet and lifting supplies, willing to learn, personable, and interested in art or creativity.
