Street of Treats is Back! It's that time of year again! Join us, this SATURDAY, for a FREE family, fun-filled event in downtown Historic Kent. Dress up the kiddos (and yourself!) and head to Historic Downtown Kent for the 4th Annual Street of Treats Autumn Fest.
Rusty Raven will be OPEN, Saturday, 10AM -5PM.
Participating businesses will be welcoming visitors to stop in for Spooktacular treats (Teal Pumpkin Project friendly too!). There will be kidβs activities, entertainment, photo opportunities and more! Support the Kent Food Bank and bring a non-perishable food donation.
Please be sure to bring your weatherproof bag for treats. Rain or shine community event.

One thing we have learned about this journey so far is this: Art isn't a commodity. Art is a necessity.

Yo, this design took me FOREVER! Thinking of the right colors was the hardest thing ever. I think it turned out well. Really like how the red, the green, and the blue look so good together. I might use this color scheme more often.

Just got done making this portrait design of Helen Folasade Adu. Most people know her as Sade.
She is like my favorite singer of all time! I wish I was able to see her perform. I usually listen to her music when I work on my designs.
My latest portrait design of my favorite rapper, Freddie Gibbs. If you haven't already heard of him, peep out his last album "Bandana."
This portrait design took me a very long time. It was so hard figuring out which color and brush I wanted to use.
Just got done creating this Mac Dre portrait design!
The hardest part was creating a background that goes with the picture. I wanted to make sure it matches with who he is and what he represents.
My new art project! Have you ever spent hours on a art project and didn't like it? So you throw it away and try it again with a new approach? That's exactly what happened with this one.
Whenever I see an art piece of Tupac, it's always something thugged out. So, I decided to do something that presented him as an artist. I wanted to make something that makes you feel good when looking at it. I think I did that with this design.
What should I do next?
I was asked to do something cute. Challenge accepted!
My inspiration is from a video I saw of a kitty kicking its leg while sleeping. This drawing is also anime influenced.
As an artist, I use to always copy other people's work. I use to trace and redraw pictures that I like. By doing this, it has made me very versatile.

New portrait design of Aaliyah!
I have been wanting to do a portrait design of her for quite some time, but always end up doing something else. Took me a bit to get the right texture down.
One thing I love most about this design is that this is probably the most realistic design I've done. I use to struggle with making things look real, I'm glad it turned out great.
My latest portrait design! Took me a few hours but I finally got it done.
This is definitely one of my favorite designs that I have made this year. I was listening to his music while working on this. Listening to his music helped me capture his essence.
My biggest problem when making this, was trying to figure out how to make it pop. So I added the gold wings and gold crown and it ended up being a perfect match of colors.
