New PC is working as intended, Nendoroid Sona is on the way - ETA: 1st week of May 2022 -- haven't been on & streaming as much as usual -- still getting setup after moving in new place, but within the month will be back to the usual once everything calms down a bit... getting there little by little...

🎶 It's beginning to look a lot like Siccness 🎶 😎 New PC is built... sorta... if didn't hear - got her to POST a total of once - literally just updated BIOS settings first run, confirmed changes followed by the forced restart and ZAP graphics card died lmao (should be under warranty yet but we'll see what they say...) - tax return is on its way though finally and probably end up upgrading very shortly... feeling that 6900 XT getting closer...

She's all coming together now... found a AMD Ryzen 9 5900X @ MSRP -- and come to the realization "now or never" because it'll be awhile on a 5950X still $300+ above MSRP and exclusive to ebay or others... with a Walmart price of $1150 + $95 or so in tax, not incl shipping, though I think was free shipping through third party provider NOT Walmart, for AMD MSRP as a $799.99 16-core 3.4ghz 4.9ghz max/OC/turbo CPU... vs the 5900X 12-core 3.7ghz CPU... fk it I'll take it... final build will be:

I fu***ng yoinked the last one off the bowels of the good side of the internet... also will eventually have TWO sets for total of 32gb DDR4-5000, but eh that original ~$1300 price tag... means its gonna wait prob 6 months, nothing I do requires 32gb RAM though eh... f**k it why not?)

also currently running TWO 1TB Samsung 980 NVMe M.2 2280mm SSD @ 3500mb/sec -- which originally NOT recognized by old motherboard as "bootable" BUT recognized in Win10 and usable -- which will be the NEW bootdrives on motherboard & recognizable in BIOS or pre-POST, the ASUS TUF and other new motherboards *almost ALL have two M.2 NVMe slots to hide them, no more clunky ass hard drives. @ https://www.newegg.com/samsung-1tb-980/p/N82E16820147804 -- & I know they make larger "up to 8TB+" SSDs but for whole Steam/Epic/Origin & other game libraries won't fill 1TB, one for boot: Samsung 980 1TB NVMe (only Windows + updates, etc), 2nd: Samsung 980 1TB NVMe (for games library/destined to be burned to s**t while playing), 3rd: ^above^ Samsung 860 EVO 500gb as backup "just in case"/trash drive (random cat photos, I don't own a cat, just other people's cat p**n lol) -- also sidenote: plan on updating these to 980 PRO, which will be PCIe 4.0 @ 7200mb/sec transfer, basically twice as fast, but the standard 980's will still be about 6x faster than current 860 EVO, both from POST > in Win10 in about 20sec vs. 40 (rough estimate, its quick but 13yr old AMD Phenom IIx6 1090T CPU still takes a hair to catch up to reality before ALL s**t is loaded, enough to open League of Legends & queue up within about 1min 20sec tops).

3 1/2 weeks until its all said and done... do******gs put tax return on prepaid cards, instead of depositing nice paper checks into ONE account (I couldn't order the Ryzen 9 5900X because every other damn site, the total with tax & shipping was too large... one site LITERALLY $710.50 -- 50 cents more than the refund that was put on the card LOL f**k my life) AND most resellers -- not gonna name the two I contacted, but they wouldn't allow me to use my normal card to pay the balance of the leftover transaction amount... s**t that you can do at the grocery store, but not to buy one of the fastest CPUs that people have been trying to score @ MSRP $549.99 for over 6 months now... and I found one... maybe $15 over MSRP, but eh close enough, and not worth waiting for a Ryzen 9 5950X 16-core CPU -- simply not going to require that much power, though again... wouldn't it be nice to build the fastest fu***ng thing known to man? Close enough, I'll settle with the very minimal speed difference... and still be 4x faster than this "about 3 generations ago" 6-core, if not more -- even though 12-core, but new board + RAM over 3x faster + NVMe & GPU operating optimally... full data send to CPU and back will no doubt be absolutely fu***ng ridiculous.

Size does matter... NVMe go BRRRRRRRR! New Samsung 980 PCIe 3.0 x4 NVMe SSD on RIITOP M.2 PCIe adapter (smaller than Razer Deathadder v2 mouse side by side)... s**t is insane :D

On Feb 17th, 2021: I was victim to house fire - not entirely sure what caused it but woke up on the "RUN MO********ER RUN!!!" part of survival tactics to hop across the floor of my apt covered in flames... I was playing - maybe streaming beforehand? and started to feel exhausted/headache, etc. and went to nap for "an hour or two"... woke up in time to evade the coroner yet again (I have held my own death certificate NOT ONCE, BUT TWICE before with the doctor's famous quote "Welcome Back!! Don't do that again, you're lucky to be alive..." -- anyhow here's the before n after pics + rebuild specs:

ASUS Crosshair IV Formula mobo AM3+ socket/890FX chipset

AMD Phenom IIx6 1090T Black Edition CPU 3.2ghz 6-core (default speeds if wondering about OC stats) (AM3 socket, though motherboard is capable of FX series 8-core CPUs as well if desired)

Corsair AX1200 PSU (also 1200W, go figure...)

Corsair H115i liquid CPU cooler (RGB addressable pump head for CPU socket, but not RGB reservoir fans - there are two separate versions for this cooler, other includes RGB fans obviously)

4x4gb (16gb total) DDR3 Kingston HyperX Fury 1600mhz

500gb Samsung 860 Evo Pro SSD (still an "older" NAND + DRAM model - fast enough and affordable at like $70 I paid)

XFX RX570 8gb DirectX 12/VR capable graphics

Corsair K70 Strafe MK.2 RGB backlit mechanical keyboard (silent Cherry MX Red switches)

Razer Deathadder V2 20K DPI optical sensor wired mouse (about *best and fastest reflex sensor available to gaming mice)

ASUS Republic of Gamers "ROG Scabbard" XL cloth mousepad

YET ANOTHER - Astro A40 Headset with MixAmp Pro TR unit for PC/XB1 (ordered one to replace the old one if some remember, RIGHT before the fire in Feb, go figure LMAO)

So... don't bother... no clue what model or brand the case was - it was sitting around buddy's storage praying to be saved... it was a hell of a fight and owe my buddy Bicklehaupt for helping drill/cut & mod the case to allow PSU and CPU cooler radiator unit to fit inside the case *barely... (and I fu***ng mean BARELY...)

So, yeah, long story short: here is that rebuild post & pics I promised everyone - also, so that I don't have to chat spam everyone and answer all the questions LOL -- fun stuff though - fire department sprayed the area, the comp, the battery backup unit - which 90% of my s**t was melted to hell in the fire - clothes, PC peripherals, vacuum, kitchen cutting boards, etc. EVERYTHING - though the PC internals - CPU, motherboard, SSD, graphics card -- all survived being thrown out my 2nd story window into snow and concrete of the parking lot as firefighters put out the fire... and she survived - case xfer warranted a liquid cooler upgrade + all new peripherals/monitor and headset etc. - and there you have it:

So... long story short: rebuilding PC etc after lost 99.9% of belongings in house fire on Feb. 17th, 2021... not used to buddy's setup though his comp performs slightly better... two weeks til Newegg delivery: keyboard/mouse, liquid CPU cooler, thermal paste - to remove/replace motherboard and CPU from old case and "transplant" my motherboard into new comp case to get back to reality... will post before and after pictures when start dissecting the computer as rebuild parts arrive per delivery, etc...
