A deeply heartfelt thank you to all potters, farmers and attendees who helped make this a truly warm and loving community experience. We all need to find ways to connect and build community these days and it was terrific to see old friends, make new ones, and talk about food and pots (with a bit of local whiskey to boot). And the rain gods were nice too, the ominous clouds rolled in exactly at 5. See you next time!

Two Gander Farm is a certified organic farm on 10 acres in on 260 acres of land in Downingtown, PA, owned and preserved by the . Trey and Deirdre Flemming and their beautiful daughters have transformed the historical farm into a magical, majestic Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) Farm. At CSAs, members buy their season's farm share to provide the necessary capital for seed and supplies for the year. Members pick up their weekly shares at the farm (or off-site) and become more intimate with the weather, the terroir of their local produce, and with the people who grow their food.
to.earth.happenings are designed around these treasured farms and farmers and CSAs, where local functional art intended for serving, eating and drinking helps to celebrate and deepen appreciation for these local community connections.

Come see the farm, pottery from 11 Chester County potters, and produce displayed in the open air barn, rain or shine, , 110 Buck Road, Downingtown, Nov 14 & 15, 12 - 5. Cash, check or credit. Masks and distancing required. Proceeds will benefit .

We had to cancel originally planned 2020 "happenings" at several CSA barns across Chester County. CSA memberships sold out for the first time at most farms in the spring, many farmers lost their majority of income due to heavy, sustained loss of regular sales to restaurants, chefs and grocery stores.

Eating from local farms is good for your own health and farmers' health, tastes better, requires less fossil fuels and synthetic chemicals, and keeps valuable land from being developed - in Chester County we have some of the best soils in the world. There are so many reasons to support local farmers! Stay tuned to for online winter sales and next year's CSA sign-up.
