🌺 E komo mai. Welcome to KAHĀ 2026.

Aloha kākou,

With deep joy and heartfelt aloha, we invite you to gather with us at Ka ʻAha Hoʻolauna Aloha, a space rooted in connection, learning, and the sharing of ʻike Hawaiʻi.

This year’s theme, “Oʻahu Ka ʻŌnohi O Nā Kai” (The Gem of the Sea), honors Oʻahu as a place of convergence, resilience, and beauty. Like a gem shaped by the kai, the island reflects the brilliance of ʻike kūpuna, stewardship, and the enduring practice of aloha.

We look forward to welcoming you into this meaningful journey of ʻike-sharing, pilina, and renewed commitment to aloha ʻāina and one another.

He leo nō nā kūpuna. He leo kāhea i ka lāhui.

An oli is more than sound. It is breath, memory, lineage, and intention carried on the voice. It connects us to our kūpuna, to our ʻāina, and to one another. Through oli, we gather. Through oli, we remember who we are.

This year, we are honored to share a kāhea (call), an oli composed and offered by the founder of Ka ʻAha Hoʻolauna Aloha (KAHĀ), Kuualohanui Kaulia, inviting kānaka maoli and all kānaka at heart to come together in Las Vegas for the 2026 KAHĀ Conference.

A call to return.
A call to learn.
A call to stand in ʻike ho‘oilina.
A call to gather under aloha.

📍 June 26–28, 2026
📍 Palace Station Hotel & Casino, Las Vegas

If you hear the call in your naʻau, come.
E hui mai kākou ma lalo o ke aloha no ke kūkulu hou ʻana i ka lāhui.

E hui mai kākou!

With great humility and aloha, we invite our community to gather for the fourth Ka ʻAha Hoʻolauna Aloha (KAHĀ) Conference, a growing hui dedicated to perpetuating ʻike Hawaiʻi and strengthening pilina across our lāhui.

This year, we honor the moku of Oʻahu through our theme:
Oʻahu Ka ʻŌnohi O Nā Kai (Oʻahu, the Pearl of the Seas)

This theme centers Oʻahu as a place of deep history, cultural brilliance, and enduring connection across oceans. Rooted in ʻike kūpuna and living practice, the conference brings together loea, kumu, and cultural practitioners from across the Hawaiian Islands, particularly Oʻahu, to share knowledge through workshops, performances, and hands-on learning experiences.
KAHĀ is a space where learning becomes relationship, where ʻike is shared with intention, and where our collective bowls are filled through aloha, laulima, and kuleana.

Registration is now open!
