ACCESSIBILITY INFORMATION for PEOPLE'S PRIDE 2026
Accessibility
* The Black Box is wheelchair accessible, but is partially gravel.
* West Bottoms Plant Company has a ramp to the first floor and an elevator to the basement where the vendors will be. The elevator will require assistance from WBPC staff.
* The Ship has a lift, but it does require employee assistance.
* No Divide is on the second floor of the Livestock Exchange building and has an elevator.
* The parade route from West Bottoms Plant Co. to The Black Box is approximately 0.5 miles long on mostly flat terrain.
Masking
*** Masking is strongly encouraged, especially indoors.
* We highly recommend testing for covid before attending any of the People's Pride events throughout the weekend.
* We will be distributing free masks at all of our events.
* Free masks are also available at Turnsol Books and Sunrise Pantry courtesy of 816 Covid Collective.
* Stay home if you feel sick!
Water Refill Station
* We will have a water refill station at The Black Box, courtesy of KC Water.
* The refill station will be located on the front lawn by the entrance, and will be available from 5 P.M. to midnight.
* Water is filtered and chilled on site.
* Please bring your own refillable water bottle, cup, canteen, etc. to use at the water station.
We strive to make People's Pride as accessible as possible. Please let us know if there is any way we can make it more accessible next year!
