This weekend, The Kansas City Renaissance Festival begins!

So does Forged In Flames Fire Show's 5th year and we cannot be anymore excited!

We (JJ Sampel, WYLD, Skyler Novak, and Alexander Fool) are ready to entertain the masses with our Fire Arts, drums, and rotating guest performers.

So come see the show, say hi, and scream FIRE as we dance through another beautiful Renfare season!

I will be out at Bluffwoods Renaissance Festival performing with the amazing Pyro Flow group on Saturday May 31st.

Shows will be at 12:30pm and 2:30pm!

The festival is all weekend Saturday and Sunda, so check out both days!

Performing with fire is dangerous!

This is why hiring trained professionals is important.

You can see in the video the staff taps my head and sets some of my hair on fire.
Though I wet it down before each performance, this can and still does happen.

It's a great example of how quality training in fire safety and staying calm in situations can make something seem so miniscule.

I was fine with no injuries, just smelt of burnt hair.

This was a late show on a hot day, you can tell from all the drops. But it's never about not dropping your prop.
It's about how you pick it up!
