Join us next week for our first Pre Ballet Camp of the Summer! Pre-ballet Camps are designed especially for young keiki to explore ballet, creative movement, jazz styles. Class level is age and developmentally appropriate. This nurturing inspiring camp includes tumbling, dance games, and arts and crafts. With caring instructors and a supportive environment, children will build new skills, make friends, and be busy discovering the magic of dance.

Each camp has an in-studio performance on Friday.

Alexander Academy proudly presents Alice in Wonderland, a delightful ballet performance bringing Lewis Carroll’s classic tale to life. Join Alice as she journeys through a whimsical world filled with curious characters, magical moments, and enchanting dance. Under the artistic direction of Amelia Nelson, this production features creative choreography designed to captivate dancers and audiences of all ages. Costumes are lovingly crafted by Jennifer Oberg and The Sewing Hui, adding vibrant color and charm to the Wonderland cast. Performances will be held on June 6th and 7th at the Seabury Hall Aʻaliʻikuhonua Creative Arts Center in Makawao. This family-friendly event promises an imaginative celebration of artistry and community spirit. Don’t miss this opportunity to experience the magic and wonder of Alice in Wonderland on stage!

Ballet 1 and Ballet 2/3 Camps are designed for beginner and intermediate students who are ready to build on their ballet foundation and take their training to the next level. Classes include Ballet technique, variations, musical theater, jazz, contemporary, conditioning, and choreography. This is an inspiring week focusing on building technique, having fun with new choreography, and developing friendships while sharing the art of dance with other dancers.
Ballet 1 Camp ages 8-18 (9:00a-2:00p) July 13-17 $500
Ballet 2/3 Camp ages 10 -18 (9:00a-2:00p) June 22-26 & July 27-31 $500 (register for both camps and receive a $70 credit towards fall tuition.
