✨ **Meet the Team Behind The Hoover** ✨

It takes a lot of people behind the scenes to keep this beautiful building running and to bring performances, events, rental spaces, classes, and activities to our community.

We wanted to take a moment to introduce the main team behind the **C.L. Hoover Opera House**. ❤️

Each of us has a different role, but we all share the same goal — to care for this historic building, create meaningful experiences, and help the C.L. Hoover Opera House continue to be a place our community can enjoy and be proud of.

Over the last year and a half, there have been a lot of changes, new ideas, and exciting things happening here. We hope you’ve noticed some of those positive changes along the way — and most of all, we hope you like what you see.

We truly enjoy working together, and we’re grateful for the opportunity to be part of a place that means so much to Junction City and the surrounding community.

September is here, which means our **first show of the 2026–2027 season is almost here!**

On **Friday, September 18 at 7:00 PM**, Michael Cavanaugh takes the stage at the C.L. Hoover Opera House with **The Music of Billy Joel & Elton John** — an evening packed with some of the greatest piano-rock hits of all time!

Michael was **handpicked by Billy Joel** to star in the Broadway smash *Movin’ Out*, where his performance earned both **Tony and Grammy nominations**. Now he brings that incredible energy to The Hoover with favorites from Billy Joel and Elton John, including songs like *Piano Man, Movin’ Out, My Life, Rocket Man, I’m Still Standing,* and more. 🎶🎹

🌸 We Remember Dolly 🌸

We couldn’t let the week finish without acknowledging the loss of a true legend—a beautiful soul and an icon whose influence reached far beyond music into film, books and the hearts of generations.

If the CL Hoover Opera House had a flag outside, it would be flying at half-staff today. Tears are flowing around the world, and hearts are broken as we remember Dolly Parton—not only for her extraordinary talent, but for the kindness, generosity, laughter and light she shared so freely.

Thank you for the music, the books, the memories and the joy, Dolly. The world feels a little less bright without you, but your beautiful legacy will live on.

We will always love you. 🦋🎶
