I don’t know what to say ………. The world lost a rhinestone today . As an East Tennessee boy born and raised i grew up with Dolly , spent Christmases and summers at DollyWood , listened to her music with my grandmother, felt love and support as a gay man in East Tennessee from a woman who knew what it could cost her in her career. If the world can just love just half as much as she could, it would be a much better place. It is a dark day in Tennessee as we mourn Dolly Parton Queen of the South. The world will never be the same without your light. In the world is a better place because of everything you’ve done for it. I will always love you.
