The Harmony Effect, Inc. The Harmony Effect is an Arts Education provider based in NYC and NJ, providing music instruction to students of all levels and backgrounds. T.H.E.

The Harmony Effect started as a 'Harmoniemusik' ensemble, a small 18th century style wind band championing the serenades and divertimenti of Mozart, Beethoven, and Haydn. Through chamber music socials and performances we enjoyed a "social harmony". These meetings of the minds inspired us in our own projects to perform quality music to everyday people at the grass roots level. would eventually evol

ve into a grassroots music education initiative to create an environment where children can learn to make music like me and my colleagues. In October, 2011 we launched our pilot music program at the Mount Vernon School - a public school in the Ivy Hill neighborhood of Newark, New Jersey. Contributions on behalf of The Harmony Effect may be made payable to Fractured Atlas, a 501(c)(3) public charity; and are tax-deductible to the extent permitted by law.
