Rei was raised in a remote, peaceful mountain temple that doubled as a sanctuary for orphans and refugees. Trained by an aging master who taught her that true strength lies in compassion. Her peaceful world was shattered when a corrupt warlord; seeking a mythical artifact hidden beneath the temple burned it to the ground.

Vowing to protect those who cannot protect themselves, Rei took up her master’s blade and set out into a continent fractured by war and creeping shadow.
