Our new and improved mini sourdough loaf flights are now available for preorder! Order now for pickup Friday August 28 from 11-11:30am near Jeffersontown. Flavors in this flight are jalapeño cheddar, double chocolate chip, garlic parmesan & herb, and lemon blueberry. $20 each, payment required to place order (Venmo, cashapp, Zelle, and PayPal accepted).

I can’t do everything all of the time. But sometimes, I have to do a lot of things at the same time.

Right now that means prepping the dough for this week’s preorders while we do some homeschooling and I attend a Zoom training.

Ask me how many times a day I mumble under my breath, “ain’t nothing to it but to do it.” 😅😂

Most people see a w**d. Angie sees something useful.

If you’ve visited our booth at the farmer’s market, you’ve probably met my mother-in-law, Angie, or Nana as she’s known in our house. She’s the other half of our market booth, bringing her homemade jams and salves, hand sewn items, and whatever fresh seasonal produce she’s grown. (If you’ve ever seen her giant sweet potatoes, you know they’re legendary!)

One of her most popular items is her plantain salve. Plantain grows all over the place here in Kentucky, including in our backyard, and once Angie learned about its traditional uses, she started making her own salve. She infuses the plantain herself in coconut oil and beeswax, keeping the ingredients simple and natural. We always keep some on hand for bug bites, burns, and more. It’s our go-to for anything skin related!

After sharing the salve with family and friends and getting such great feedback, she decided to start making it to share at the market. It’s quickly become one of those products that customers keep coming back for. Be sure to stop by and grab some for yourself! 🌿

Since we have to miss our Train Depot market this weekend, I’m doing something a little different and opening up a limited preorder menu for pick up next week. And I’m especially excited because we’re introducing a brand-new flavor, Maple Cinnamon, in our Loaf Flight!

🍞 Here’s what’s on the menu:

•Mini Sourdough Loaf Flight ($20)
Includes one of each:
-Classic Sourdough
-Maple Cinnamon
-Lemon Blueberry
-Garlic, Parmesan, & Herb

•Garlic, Parmesan & Herb Sourdough Focaccia ($10)

•Classic Sourdough Loaf ($10)

•Garlic, Parmesan, & Herb Sourdough Loaf ($14)

Everything will be freshly baked to order and available for pickup near Jeffersontown.

Pickup is Wednesday, August 19 from 5–6pm, or Thursday, August 20 from 9:30-10:30am.

Preorders are open now! Send us a message to place your order and get pickup details. Payment is required when ordering. We accept Venmo, CashApp, Zelle and PayPal.

Preorders will close Monday, August 17, or sooner if we reach our production limit.
