If your travels on the Lincoln Highway take you to Jefferson, you'll have so much to see and do!!
Stop #133 on America 250 Stops in 250 Days along the Iowa Lincoln Highway Heritage Byway is the painted walk from Times Square to Lincoln Park in front of the Greene County Iowa Historical Society Museum and Jefferson Gardens in Jefferson, IA.
This block-long walk is painted semi-annually to mark the Lincoln Highway route and some of the major towns along it. On each side of the Museum, there are two NEW Murals painted by Chad Elliott. Elliott Art Studio is located around the block. Jefferson is known for all of their murals and art, and the list keeps growing. And don't forget to visit the museum with Lincoln Highway artifacts and a new expansion with a Barbie Room! Plan on spending an afternoon, a day, or a couple of days exploring!
See you on the byway! 🛺🖌
