Hi! Iā€™m Kylie, and Iā€™m an artist! I figured itā€™s time to put a little bit about me on my page since itā€™s been a few years.

I have the most wonderful fiancĆ©, Katie. She is my biggest supporter and my biggest cheerleader. She believes me and my art more than I ever have. Sheā€™s hilarious, we laugh constantly and thereā€™s never a dull moment with her. I cannot wait to marry her.

We have two cats! Poppy and Fig. The cat distribution system was working over time to get us these two. Last August we got a call from my aunt asking if we wanted a kitten she had found in a grease barrel behind the plaza she works in. Poppy is the grease gremlin. Fig is brand new to the family. I was driving home from picking up the most stunning Tiffany style lamp and saw this little black puff fly across a very high speed/high traffic road. I pulled over (with no where to actually pull over) and walked towards him, he bolted and tumbled down a ditch. So of course I crawled in the ditch. Now he quarantined in the bathroom til we get the okay from the vet that he is safe to interact with Poppy!

Some of my favorite things are:
ā€¢painting (of course)
ā€¢vinyl records (still need to get a decent player though)
ā€¢iced coffee and a little treat
ā€¢kayaking/being in the water
ā€¢thrifting (truly an addiction)
ā€¢ladybugs (I always think itā€™s my baby sister visiting me)
ā€¢vintage VW bus (dream car)
ā€¢human rights/equal rights/diversity/inclusion
ā€¢separation of church and state
ā€¢therapy !!

I drew Blackbird Books and Coffee 2 days before we found out Katieā€™s company chose her for the new office they were opening in Raleigh. Today we finally got to check it out in person!

My coffee was delicious and so was Katieā€™s. I got the banana pudding iced latte and Katie got a vanilla blueberry iced latte. We also got a 5 year memory book, you write one line a day. Iā€™m excited to start a new little habit that we do togetheršŸ’›

If you are in the Raleigh area, you neeeed to check them out! Plus, theyā€™re q***r friendly which is always a ln amazing feeling being a q***r artist.
