Illuminations Dance Troupe

Illuminations Dance Troupe Illuminations is Cornell's co-ed undergraduate Chinese dance troupe. We perform originally choreographed dances at various events throughout the year.

Founded in 2004, Illuminations is committed to sharing Chinese culture, both past and present, through contemporary and traditional dance. Illuminations has over 20 members who perform at major cultural events in addition to our own annual showcase. We perform a wide variety of dances, including folk dances, classical dances, kung fu dances, and many others that reflect important parts of Chinese

culture. Since its founding, Illuminations members have choreographed and performed over 50 different dances.
