Friends of the Woodbridge Village Center Friends of Woodbridge Village Center aims to preserve WVC as a unique retail and community destination, and to keep residents informed about its future.

Friends of WVC Mission Statement:
"Our aim is to preserve Woodbridge Village Center (WVC) as a unique retail and community destination, and to keep residents informed about its future. Our mission is to work collectively with the community, the City of Irvine, the Woodbridge Village Association, and the Irvine Company, to revitalize and renew WVC by transforming it into a vibrant and thriving r

etail center." The Friends of WVC coalition and this page was created in August 2014 when the Irvine Company was evaluating options to replace the WVC possibly with residential units or another generic strip mall. Early in 2015, The Irvine Company announced the WVC would remain a retail center and that improved shopping, food and entertainment offerings would be pursued. The Irvine Company plans to reveal their proposal to the Woodbridge Village Association sometime in 2015. The Friends of WVC believes this center is a unique and valuable feature of our community. We are eager to see the Irvine Company preserve and enhance the center as a desirable pedestrian and cycling destination, with new and unique retail stores and restaurants. The goal of this page is to keep you informed of events as they unfold, and to provide information on actions you can take to support the WVC. Sincerely,

After nearly 10 years of operating in the Woodbridge Village Center, Groove E-Bikes (formerly Pedego) is leaving the Center and heading over the border into Newport Beach. We have sincerely enjoyed being a part of this wonderful community and we're super sad to leave. Our official move date is Monday, 11/21. If you like to help us move (no, we don't need to borrow your truck), come on in and take advantage of our pre-move sale.

For those have haven't heard, The Irvine Company withdrew their application proposing Piper Preschool at the Woodbridge Village Center.

As proposed, Piper Preschool would have inhabited the spaces that previously housed Ruby's Diner and Barnes & Noble. It is unclear at this time how the Irvine Company plans to fill the former Ruby's Diner and Barnes & Noble locations now that the application for Piper Preschool has been withdrawn.

Huge electric bike Tent Event coming next weekend!!!! The event will be held in Irvine's Woodbridge Village Center courtyard from 9am-2pm, Saturday, Feb 29. Haibike, GoCycle, Aventon, Gazelle, American Flyer and Pedego! Come in for test rides, give-aways, opportunity drawings, massive Spring cleaning deals on floor model Pedegos, demo sales and many event specials and savings! Well, we had William Shatner and family visiting the Center again. After getting some fresh juice from Clean Juice and latte's from the Lost Bean, they gathered at Pedego for an awesome ride through Turtle Rock and Shady Canyon with a lunch stop at Strawberry Farms. This is their favorite ride and they love visiting the Center.
