I'm so proud to share that I worked with Kelly as her book coach so she can put this AMAZING project in your hands. This bold, creative YA non-fiction book about Asian womxn pioneers is exactly the kind of book I wish I had as a kid. To hear about Maria Orosa whose food innovations helped fellow Filipinos overcome malnutrition and food insecurities... or learn about Sophia Singh who fought for women's suffrage... history class could have taken a whole new meaning if I had seen myself in the stories. That's why I'm SO excited for children, like mine, to be able to get a book like this.

• CONTACT YOUR REPS — The work of safeguarding of voting rights is far from done, and the passage of legislation for this purpose is more important than ever.

• FIGHT CENSORSHIP OF BLACK VOICES — Organizing, speaking out, and showing up works. Be vocal about your support for Black authors and their books.

• KEEP LEARNING — Being anti-racist requires being continuously open to new information and self-educating.

• KEEP ACTING — Actively engaging and combating systemic inequalities is the work of a lifetime, but worthy work nonetheless.

Hi everyone!

I wanted to say thank you for supporting me when I first launched Samantha B. Literary. Although I haven't updated this page since 2018, I really appreciate all the support behind the scenes. And thank you to all the new Likes!

**News:** In 2020, I exited my role as a literary agent. Unsurprisingly, it was a year of shifting priorities.

**The exciting part:** In the spring of 2021, I started coaching individuals and businesses on developing their children's and YA books, and consulting them through the publishing process. I'm loving the work so far! It's allowed me to continue doing what I'm passionate about: giving people the information, direction, and confidence they need to write and sell incredible and impactful books for young readers.

I have space for new clients right now.
