A mid-century modern home in Irondequoit that J-Sand Contracting renovated.

New cedar caps cover existing exposed beams in the living area.

Cedar tongue and groove was added to the foyer ceiling and again in the four season room (not shown).

A “live edge” floating cedar mantle was mounted before the stacked ledge stone masonry was done on the fireplace.

HUGE windows overlooking the ravines were replaced by us the year prior.

Some interior shots of the same home from last week. This has been an ongoing renovation with a lot of "blood sweat and beers" 🍻

We did the cedar beams off site and capped the existing painted original beams. It added some beefiness to them and the scale better matches the house now.

The matching live edge cedar mantle in the Rock is a nice touch 👌🏽

We also put in new Marvin Integrity windows throughout the home in 2012, a month after the home owner purchased it.

Installing maple cabinets in a client's bathroom today.

Winding down on a substantial remodel that included two bathrooms, a master bedroom, hallway and stairway.

Lots of work, but it's worth it when it looks this good and the home owner is thrilled with the results😅
