Thanks to everyone who came out to the show last night! Great crowd! It was a full house full of friends, music, and memories. Thanks to That Place, Aaron and Steven for the great job on sound/lights, thanks to Knight Raven for kicking off the night! Also to Debra and Nick who did the music bingo right before the show started.

It was great to see so many friends there. It’s always the best thing about playing shows. It was cool to see some guys who are part of musical history that helped start Rok Hollywood. Matt Gahimer, who was our first singer/guitarist when we stsryed this band when we were Hollywood. As well as Brian Kurrasch, who was the bass player for Signal 80. The band we were in right before Hollywood.

I really wanted pictures with all of our friends. But even though we had more time to talk than usual. There still wasn’t enough time for everything or everyone. We’re looking forward to the next show. We still hope to get another one or two before the end of the year.

Rok Hollywood is an 80's Rock style band, specializing in originals, as well as cover songs. In the last several years, Rok Hollywood performed with Def Leppard/Journey, Sammy Hagar, George Thorogood, Foreigner, and Kid Rock at Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center. With Tesla at the Brown County Music Center. As well as with Warrant/Firehouse, at the Indiana State Fair.

Rok Hollywood has performed with Poison, Journey, Cinderella, Motley Crue, Def Leppard, Ratt, Dokken, Warrant, Firehouse, Winger, Kip Winger, Tesla, Skid Row, Lynch Mob, LA Guns, Alice Cooper, Great White, Bret Michaels, Cheap Trick, Heart, Lita Ford, Autograph, Iron Maiden, New York Dolls, Bang Tango, Faster Pussycat, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Shooter Jennings, 3 Doors Down, and more.

Rok Hollywood has performed at the Whisky in Hollywood, The Indiana State Fair, The Rose Theatre in Pasadena, California, King of Clubs in Nashville, Riverstar in Cincinnati, Phoenix Hill Tavern in Louisville, Verizon Wireless Music Center/Klipsch Music Center in Indianapolis, Brown County Music Center, 8 Seconds Saloon in Indianapolis, The Vogue Theater in Indianapolis, Hi-Fi in Indy, The Bluebird in Bloomington, Piere's in Ft. Wayne, Paramount Theater in Anderson, and many other venues.

Five shows with Faster Pussycat at five different venues from 2011-2016. Show number six coming up on July 4th, 2025. Every show was a good time with lots of memories. Looking forward to this next show at Hi-Fi in Indianapolis.

This is really cool and means a lot to be respected by someone who has gone farther in this business than us. It’s not easy playing original music in Indianapolis and things have been tough for us lately. So, seeing this message from Ted Poley of Danger Danger definitely helps. Hopefully you will see a Ted Poley/Rok Hollywood show in the near future.
