It’s a Family Affair … This Thursday Sept 3 if free, dear friends! Papa Warfleigh’s Funk Revival live, free and all ages at 317 BBQ and Taproom (Broadripple) 🎶 6-9 pm Love to share with many of you!

And thank you for the interview and preview, Indy Local Live ~ a taste here:

“At a Papa Warfleigh’s Funk Revival show, you may find yourself showered with rice, perhaps in a backwards corset, with friends holding up newspapers, and giant lips on the screen. Oh wait, that’s Rocky Horror. (You shine on always, Tim Curry.)

Actually, any or all of these might happen at a Papa Warfleigh’s Funk Revival show too, as you never really know what you’re going to get next. The set will consist of 95% original music, from funk to protest to punk, from a circus big top to a sea shanty pirate homage. Papa W’s is blessed to be celebrating 15 years, and have performed together at venues from The Vogue to HiFi to the Mousetrap and of course the historic Melody Inn.

We would love to see you Thursday, wonderful friends, and promise an all-ages friendly, interactive show for all. We are honored to be hosting the show with the amazing family from 317 BBQ, who do so much for our community.

Bring your dancing shoes! Love & Light. - Trev & PWFR”

Extra special thanks to Jim Bailey for filling in on drums for us (Let’s do again very soon, JB!) and to the one and only Matt Panfil and Joaquin Mariscal for lighting up the mic! You are gems indeed, and we love you.

And of course, great appreciations and a big toast raised to Dave, Rob, Jeff and the whole Melody Inn family for having us once again at our first and forever home. The Mel is legendary.
