Enjoying the process of refreshing my portfolio site. Check it out if you got time.

It’s like 85% done. Some of the cover images are out of alignment but I’m not going to get stuck on that. I’m trying to get comfortable sharing projects unfinished.

This is built on Adobe Portfolio because that’s what was included in my subscription package. The merch store is an external link to a Printful store.

Deeply satisfying and energizing to see this come together. This kinda thing is my jam.

Thoughts from the weekend:

What’s the obsession with discipline? With discomfort. That’s sadistic. Why yall hate pleasure?

How far do you have to take it before it becomes a kink for optimization? No shame tho.

What would happen if you had to create with no parameters and no practice. Would you crumble? I would thrive.

I hate forced vulnerability especially with people I don’t already trust.

A lot of flyers and posts be ugly. A lot of yall ain’t in it for the craft. I’m cool on yall.

Why do we focus on results so much? What happens when we enjoy the process of making? Why are we always competing and controlling? Aren’t you tired of forcing that thinking on other people?

How can I use art to agitate people that agitate me? I believe in their growth the same way they believe in mine.

Why do other people expect to avoid their discomfort while I have to sit with mine?

I should bring back my blog.
