Estreno de Norte Bronco de Sonora en el Polkas Norteñas Fest ✨🤠

Muchas gracias a Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos y a artemexicanoenindiana por la invitación. Y gracias a Jaz y Niko de Alexander C. Dance Company por presentar juntos con nosotros, bailes del estado de Nuevo León. 🩵

Mañana nuestro grupo juvenil presentará un nuevo cuadro en el Polkas Norteñas fest organizado por Ballet Folklorico Mosaicos y artemexicanoenindiana ✨

Estamos muy emocionados de presentar polkas de Norte Bronco de Sonora! ✨ En enero nuestra maestra tuvo la oportunidad de tomar un taller de Sonora en Chicago, y mañana nuestros bailarines presentarán algunos bailes que se vieron en ese taller.

Muchas gracias a los organizadores por la invitación. Esperamos que todos vengan a disfrutar de esto evento gratuito para toda la familia!

Today we celebrate National Latina Day with so much pride. ❤️💃🏽

At Indy Folklore Academy, our roots live in every step, every performance, and every class we share. We are incredibly proud to be an academy 100% led by Latina women who work together to preserve our culture, build community, and create opportunities for the next generation of dancers in Indianapolis. ✨

IFA would be nothing without this group of Latina women who pour so much love, time, and hard work into our academy, often behind the scenes and on top of their own daily responsibilities, to make sure everything runs smoothly. ✨

We’re proud to announce .panaderia.luna.llena will be joining us at our Pilates y Cafecito fundraiser this Saturday at 🧘🏽‍♀️🩷

You will be able to purchase goodies from Luna Llena to go with your complimentary coffee after class. Montse, the owner and founder of Luna Llena, has graciously offered to have all of the proceeds go towards keeping IFA affordable and accessible for all🫂

Join us this semester and experience the beauty of Mexico’s cultural heritage and traditions through folkloric dance!💃🏽🇲🇽

Whether you’ve been thinking about starting your dance journey or looking to continue it, we’d love to welcome you to our dance family🫂🤍

📅 Classes begin Monday, July 13, 2026
🌟 Children (Ages 8–12) Mondays 6:30–7:30 PM
🌟 Teens (Ages 13–16) Wednesdays 6:00–7:30 PM
🌟 Adults (Ages 17+) Mondays & Wednesdays 7:30–9:15 PM

New dancers are always welcome! Come build confidence, make new friends, and celebrate our culture through dance☺️💛

Additional Information about our upcoming fundraiser Cafecito y Pilates☕️🩵✨

• It’s held on Saturday, July 18th from 1-2:30 pm!🗓️

• It will be at located in SoBro at 52nd and college ave. She Shop is a fitness studio by women, for women, but anyone is welcome at this event!🩷

• Mats are provided! We only recommend bringing some water to stay hydrated. Grippy socks are optional or you can complete the class barefoot🧘🏽‍♀️

• Included in your ticket you will get to enjoy a 45 minute pilates class followed by a cold brew bar until, and an optional walk down the monon if you’d like to sip your coffee and chat. Link in bio!☺️👟

• All proceeds from this event go directly towards Indy Folklore Academy to help ensure accessible learning opportunities for students in the Indianapolis area to continue to share cultural traditions of Mexico🇲🇽🩰

¿Siempre has querido aprender danza folclórica? ¡Esta es tu oportunidad!

Indy Folklore Academy te invita a participar en nuestra semana de Folklórico 101 un curso diseñado para quienes desean dar sus primeros pasos en la danza folclórica mexicana.

Durante esta experiencia aprenderás las bases fundamentales, la técnica básica y los conceptos esenciales del folklórico en un ambiente divertido y acogedor.

Esta clase está especialmente diseñada para principiantes y para personas interesadas en formar parte de Indy Folklore Academy. ¡No se requiere experiencia previa, solo ganas de aprender y bailar! 💃
